Includes correspondence, biographical material; her manuscripts, transcripts of interviews; lecture notes on portrait photography; essays about her; financial records; teaching materials; catalogues and announcements; photos of Cunningham, her family and friends; clippings; miscellany. The Roi Partridge Collection contains three boxes of archival materials including scrapbooks, correspondence and other materials containing references to Cunningham's career and family life. The original typed transcript of the Regional Oral History Project's 1959 interview with Cunningham is preserved here.

A significant amount of material relating to Cunningham and group f.64 is at the Center. Letters from Cunningham are in the Ansel Adams, Wynn Bullock, Edward Weston, Helen Gee, Lee Witkin, and George Craven Archives. Additional research materials are in the Limelight Gallery and Witkin Gallery Collections and in biographical vertical files. Group f.64 is documented in the Edward Weston, Sonya Noskoviac, Willard Van Dyke, Ansel Adams, and George Craven Archives. The original transcripts of interviews with friends and family of Cunningham assembled for Dater's book, Imogen Cunningham: A Portrait (1979) are preserved here.
