Imogen made note of the quieter moments within her daily life, often recording these moments on film, almost like a 'mise-en-scene' for herself.
Dolls and doll parts were of continuing interest to Imogen throughout her photographic career; eggs also captured her attention. With three small boys, she received photographic 'gifts' that her sons brought home, like the snake in a bucket.
